Urtica Urens – Dwarf Stinging Nettle
Urtica-urens. has a strong affinity for the skin, urinary organs, joints, and mammary glands, especially with burning, stinging sensations like nettle rash, hives, burns, gouty pains, and suppressed milk flow.
Like the plant remedies for allergic or irritant reactions, the Urtica-urens. individual is restless and irritable with sudden burning outbreaks, often from shellfish, bee stings, or heat; symptoms mimic nettle stings with red, swollen, itchy welts that burn violently.
Physically there may be urticaria with large red wheals worse from water or warmth, first-degree burns or scalds with blistering heat, gout with uric acid deposits in joints, or agalactia post-childbirth. Think of Urtica-urens. for hives from allergies, sunburn itching, bee stings, burning urination with gravel, or rheumatism alternating with skin eruptions.
