Sol – British Sunlight (Sol Britannicum)
Sol has a strong affinity for the skin, eyes, head, and nervous system, especially for sunburn, sunstroke, headaches from glare, and sensitivity to light or heat exposure.
Like the energy remedies for overstimulation, the Sol individual is often sensitive to sunlight, with symptoms of exhaustion or irritation from excessive exposure; they may feel overwhelmed by bright light, heat, or glare, leading to throbbing headaches or eye strain.
Physically there may be sunburn with redness and burning, painful eyes from glare or sun, sun headaches with throbbing or bursting pain, or nervous prostration from heat. Think of Sol for severe sunburn, heat exhaustion, photophobia with headache, or eye pain after bright sun exposure.
