NICOLE McCONNON

Hi, I’m Nicole,

Hello! I’m Nicole—a proud mum to three incredible, resilient children (aged 21, 14, and 13) and two beloved adopted greyhounds. Our family story began in Ireland, but in 2015, we followed a long held dream and made our home in the beautiful city of Perth, Western Australia.

My Journey

Australia has always held a special place in my heart. I lived here as a teenager, backpacked through my twenties, and somehow always knew deep down that this was where I was meant to be. As a family, we love the outdoor lifestyle—beaches, sunshine, and a sense of freedom that matches my passion for nature and travel.

Professionally, I’m a fully qualified and licensed homeopath, based in Kallaroo, north of the river in Perth. I run a busy online practice, supporting clients locally and across Australia and around the world. My approach is holistic and personal, always grounded in a genuine desire to help others find balance and wellness in their lives.

I qualified as a homeopath in 2012 after completing a transformative four-year professional training at The Irish School of Homeopathy in Dublin. Since then, my learning hasn’t stopped. I continue to grow through my own life experiences, working with clients, ongoing study, reading, and engaging with professional development and podcasts that keep me curious and inspired.

Previously, I was part of Homeopathy 247, a global platform providing 24/7 access to qualified homeopaths, and for many years now I am honoured to be part of Eugenie Kruger’s team.

How Homeopathy Found Me

My journey with homeopathy began as a child. From the age of two, I suffered strange, cyclical episodes of dizziness and vomiting that went on for a decade. My parents took me to countless specialists in Ireland and abroad, but no one could find the cause or offer a solution. Eventually, they turned to a homeopath—and within weeks, my symptoms vanished and never returned.

In my early twenties, I faced recurring bladder infections that antibiotics couldn’t seem to shift. As I was about to fill my third prescription, I spoke to a pharmacist who had just started stocking homeopathic remedies. Out of sheer desperation, I tried one. It worked almost instantly, and from then on, I kept that remedy in my handbag at all times.

I’ve always been drawn to helping others. As a teenager and young adult, I volunteered for many years in Lourdes, France, supporting the sick. I initially wanted to be a nurse, but after school, I became deeply involved in a fast-growing family fashion business and life took a different path—one I loved and committed to for many years.

Later, married and starting a family, I found myself once again turning to homeopathy. My GP had recommended surgery for an asymptomatic condition, and I instinctively felt I needed to explore other options first. In May 2008, a friend—an RN studying homeopathy—urged me to see her homeopath. I was blown away by the consultation. It was unlike anything I had experienced before—deep, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. While the initial goal was to avoid surgery, I also mentioned my daily headaches and reliance on ibuprofen.

To my astonishment, by my first follow-up four weeks later, the headaches had vanished—and I hadn’t touched ibuprofen since. That one experience lit a fire within me, and four months later, I enrolled at The Irish School of Homeopathy.

An Angel, A Miracle, and A Gift

While studying and after years of secondary infertility, I became pregnant in my second year of college. My second child arrived during my third year, and just months later, I was pregnant again! A month before graduating, I gave birth to my third baby. My second was still just one year old. Both pregnancies were planned homebirths, and homeopathy was an essential support throughout.

When Homeopathy Truly Shone

In 2020, our family faced a life-changing trauma my husband Paul died, his death was sudden, unexpected, and heartbreaking. In the midst of the chaos, I turned to a homeopath. It was a reminder that even as practitioners, we need support too.

The remedies we received helped us navigate the initial shock, grief, and emotional overwhelm. Over the following weeks and months, the support continued to help us think clearly, stay grounded, and function in a time of unimaginable loss. That experience deepened my connection to homeopathy in a way nothing else could. It shaped how I practice today—with even greater compassion, understanding, and dedication.

How I Can Help You

In my practice, I take the time to understand you. I look at your health history—vaccinations, medications, surgeries, injuries, hormonal patterns, and emotional experiences like trauma or stress. My goal is always to try find the root cause of symptoms and match a homeopathic remedy to you as closely as possible, to gently stimulate your body’s innate healing response.

I’m classically trained but also draw on a variety of approaches, depending on what’s most appropriate for each person. Homeopathy doesn’t rely on diagnosis or labels—it treats symptoms, and those symptoms guide us.

I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, and homeopathy can support a wide range of conditions. However, I have a particular interest in:

  • Mental health
  • Grief, bereavement, and trauma
  • Fears and phobias
  • Female hormonal health
  • ASD and neurodiversity

I’m also one of the founders of Homeopathy for Autism, a private Facebook group.

In addition, I volunteer with Riojen Outreach Gambia Homeopathy Clinic.

Final Words

Homeopathy has transformed my life and the lives of so many around me. It has carried me through the highest highs and the lowest lows—and continues to be a source of strength, balance, and deep healing. I’m here to support you on your own journey, wherever you are right now.

If you’re ready to begin, I’d love to walk beside you.
